Plasthall® 83SS by Hallstar is a 2-(2-butoxyethoxy) ethyl ester of mixed dibasic acids. It acts as a plasticizer and processing aid. It is a dibutoxyethoxylethyl sebacate substitute. It offers the similar performance to polymers that standard dibutoxyethoxyethyl sebacate (DBEES) would impart. It is compatible with nitrile. Plasthall® 83SS applications include film and sheeting for use in low temperatures. Complies with TSCA.
