Plasthall® BBP

Plasthall® BBP by Hallstar is an excellent general-purpose plasticizer. It is butyl benzyl phthalate.

It is used in polyvinyl chloride hot-processing operations such as calendaring or extruding, it imparts excellent processing characteristics.
Plasthall® BBP also significantly reduces the molten viscosity and imparts excellent tear, tensile and abrasion resistance.
Possesses minimum heat degradation, maximum oil and water resistance, good permanence, clarity and toughness.
It is outstanding among primary plasticizers in its resistance to extraction by gasoline and oil and to staining by common household materials.
It produces clear sheets, molding, films and hot metal (dip) compositions for packaging.
