TegMeR® 809

TegMeR® 809 by Hallstar is a PEG 400 di-2-ethylhexoate. It is a glycol ester plasticizer for high polarity elastomers and plastics. In thermoplastics like PET, TegMeR® 809 acts as a nucleating agent and lowers Tg of the plastic to allow for faster and lower temperature processing. Offers good resistance to water extraction and good low temperature properties. It is compatible with polyurethane, polyacrylate, hydrogenated nitrile, nitrile, PET, polyvinyl acetate, acrylic elastomers, VAMAC and polystyrene. TegMeR® 809 applications include automotive belts, hose and tubing and transmission seals. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, ENCS, IECSC, KECL, PICCS and AICS.
