TegMeR® 810

TegMeR® 810 by Hallstar is a glycol ester. It is an ester plasticizer for high polarity elastomers and plastics. In thermoplastics like PET, it acts as a nucleating agent and lowers Tg of the plastic to allow for faster and lower temperature processing. Tg reduction is especially important in highly filled compounds. It helps facilitate the crystallization formation of the polymer after extrusion and thus provide hot green strength. TegMeR® 810 has very low volatility, which is an advantage in high temperature processing. It is compatible with polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, polyacrylate, hydrogenated rubber, natural rubber, acrylic elastomers, VAMAC, nitrile, PET, PBT, polyvinyl acetate, acrylic rubber, acrylic resins and polystyrene. TegMeR® 810 applications include automotive belts, hose and tubing and transmission seals. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, ENCS, IECSC, KECL, PICCS and AICS.
