p-toluene sulfonyl hydrazide. Acts as a foaming agent. Is colorless, non-toxic, odorless and non-pollution. Has very slow decomposition. As low shrinkage and high tear strength of the foam products, it is applied to closed-cell plastics (such as athletic shoes and obturator tape) and blown sponge. Can be applied in PVC to obtain white foam product with fine, uniform foaming effect, but in some conditions the mold should be plated with chromium in its surface.
