HECO® FOAM 940 PE

HECO® FOAM 940 PE by HECOPLAST is a 40% endothermic system on a PE carrier. Acts as a blowing and nucleating agent. It has a starting temperature of about 150°C. The optimum gas yield will be achieved at 190-230 °C. It provides an optimal distribution in all kind of blowing processes that is reflected in finely structured foams and an optimized cell size as well as in distribution and good ? 40 value (W/(mK)/40°C). It is suited for EPE, EPP and almost all polymers. HECO® FOAM 940 PE recommended dosage for injection molded parts is 0.3-0.6% to avoid sink marks, for direct gasification, physicochemical foaming, ie cell nucleation is 1.2-2.0% and for weight reduction is 2.0-2.5%. It complies with EU-RL 1272/2008, EU-RL 10/2011 (ff), KTW regulation and US-FDA. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
