MIKROFINE® OBSH M300

4,4-Oxybis(benzenesulfonylhdrazide). Acts as a blowing agent. Offers excellent electrical properties. Alkanolamines and oxidizing agents like peroxides can lower its decomposition temperature making it useful for special blowing applications at relatively lower processing temperatures. Its decomposition does not liberate ammonia and hence can be safely used for cellular cable insulation. It provides a unique method for producing expanded rubber products. Suitable for injection molding, extrusion and rotational molding. Recommended for rigid PVC foam, coaxial cables, crown cork linings, expanded LDPE and EVA foam, extruded closed cell profiles for automotive door seals, low density refrigeration, air conditioning insulation, EVA shoe-midsoles, PVC-NBR floats, athletic padding and PVC foamed leather cloth. Can also be used to increase whiteness in PVC footwear and remove excessive residual soda from carpet underlay. Can be added in small quantity for the control of sink marks during injection molding of structural foam products. The dosage rate is 1 - 4 PHR depending on the polymer used and the extent of expansion required.
