3-Mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane. It acts as a silane coupling agent that has sulfydryl group with effects like surface rust proofing agent. It provides oxidation resistance and increase it’s adhesive property with resins & other high polymers when act on gold silver copper and metal surface. It is widely used to deal with inorganic fillers like silica hydrated, carbon black, glass fibre, mica to effectively improve mechanical properties and wear resistance in rubber industry. It can be used in anti shrinking finishing of fabric and hair care materials.
