JetFine® 3 C A

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Imerys
Talc. Acts as a filler. Its high lamellarity attributes to its high reinforcing ability. Provides excellent impact resistance, dimensional stability, stiffness and optimum handling/redispersion balance over range of temperatures. It reduces part thickness. Also improves dispersion of the rubber phase in TPO formulations. Reinforcement of plastics with the talc enhances their performance in terms of CLTE, stiffness and temperature resistance. Compatible with alloys based on PA, engineered plastics, ABS, PC, PBT, polyesters. Suitable for compounding, twin-screw co-rotating extrusion and injection molding. Recommended for automotive applications like car body panel, bumper as well as electronic and electrical parts like computer, television housing etc. Adding 10% of the talc to formulations increases rigidity by 40% and reduces CLTE by 20%. In engineered plastics where impact resistance is the key factor, it outperforms very fine talcs providing 20% higher toughness retention.
