Kotamite™

Kotamite™ by Imerys is a treated grounded calcium carbonate marble. It offers improved mechanical, rheological, optical and dispersion properties. The coating also makes these fine products less susceptible to moisture pick-up during use and storage. It is used in PVC sewer/potable water pipe, fencing/decking, wire & cable, PE & PP injection molding and sheet for thermoforming. Kotamite™ is also used in PVC flexible & rigid, footwear, plastics-polyolefin, thermoplastic elastomers, calendared sheeting, PVC profile extrusions and PVC flexible applications. It is ground wet, benefited from fine particle size & surface modified grade. It has excellent whiteness. It provides better impact resistance, rigidity and productivity in plastics applications. It is listed on the NSF.
