Indopol® H-8

Colourless, practically non-toxic, hydrophobic polybutene. Used to increase impact strength, flexibility and melt flow rate of many thermoplastic resins, as a aid processing in filled and reinforced polypropylene, as an extender and a plasticizer for a variety of vulcanized elastomers and as a tackifier for linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). Offers little or no odour, resistance to oxidation by light and moderate heat. Improves tear resistance, flexibility, clarity and gloss properties. Provides very good tensile strength, elongation, low temperature flexibility and colour/UV stability. Gives durability, cling properties and low toxicity.
