VISCOWAX® 253

High quality oxidized, polar polyethylene wax. It acts as a lubricant, release agent and plasticizer. Suitable for water-based emulsions in plastic processing for lubricating PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Applications include textile industry for use as a plasticizer component, in improving cross-linking properties, tear resistance, smoothing of fabrics and as slip agent for sewing threads. Listed in Annex I of Regulation (EU) 10/2011 (Ref. No. 80077) and USFDA CFR 21 §§ 177.1620, §§175.300, 175.105, 176.170, 176.180, 177.1390, 177.1200 & 177.2800.
