SperseStab™ 1425

SperseStab™ 1425 by Interspersal is a thermal stabilizer and high molecular weight, phenolic antioxidant containing phosphonate located para to the phenol. It provides excellent color and low gas fading in a UV stable antioxidant. It also acts as a soluble catalyst in the solid-state polymerization of PET polymers and for the esterification of rosin esters. It enhances the process and high-temperature stability. It has low volatility, prevents discoloration, and reduces acetaldehyde generation. It is also used for petroleum alicyclic hydrocarbon resins, resins, and polymers used as components of paper and paperboard, closures with sealing gaskets, finished rubber articles, and PET polymers. It has extensive FDA clearances for use under 21 CFR §178.2010 in polypropylene and polyethylene. SperseStab™ 1425 has a shelf life of 2 years.
