K-KAT® XK-640

K-KAT® XK-640 by King Industries is a versatile bismuth carboxylate catalyst. Provides improved hydrolytic stability and similar properties to standard tin catalysts without the environmental drawbacks. It can be used in ambient, force dry and bake systems. Exhibits excellent gloss retention and exterior durability. It can replace many heavy metal and/ or toxic catalysts used in the production of urethane elastomers. Recommended at a dosage rate of 0.05-0.2 % for 2-component polyurethanes and 1.0-2.5 % for blocked isocyanates. Shelf life of K-KAT® XK-640 is 24 months.
