KRATON™ D1157 AS by KRATON is an impact modifier of bitumen. It is a clear, linear block co-polymer-based on styrene and butadiene with bound styrene of 29.5% mass. It is supplied as porous pellets dusted with amorphous silica. It shows low viscosity for easy thermoplastic melt processing or processing in solution. KRATON™ D1157 AS is used for modification of bitumen in roofing felt compounds.
