KRATON™ MD1648

KRATON™ MD1648 by KRATON acts as an impact modifier for high melt flow PP. It is easy to apply, mold, cast or process with low residual stress. Designed for oil/ plasticizer-free compounds, long glass fiber composites, breathable & elastic melt blown non-wovens and masterbatch carrier for difficult additives and pigments. Also used in automotive compounds, soft & transparent polypropylene compounds, PVC alternate formulations for molded and extruded goods. It has low viscosity that allows for higher throughput or lower operating temperatures. This results in lower electricity usage during formulating or compounding, and less pressure during molding, with the potential for faster cycle times. KRATON™ MD1648 enables significant dispersion improvements.
