Light Amide WH-255 by Kyoeisha Chemical is ethylene bis stearamide (EBS). Acts as lubricant and mold releasing agent for calendar processing of thermoplastics and high temperature filler-enhanced thermoplastics. Also acts as dispersing agent for pigment (dry color) for use in thermoplastics and nucleating agent for nylon and polypropylene. It improves the heat resistance and reduces the melting temperature for thermoplastics and improves fluidity. Light Amide WH-255 emits extremely low amount of smoke during high-temperature pressing and injection molding.
