Aflux® 18 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a dispersant/lubricant designed for acrylic rubbers such as AEM, ACM and EVM. It also functions as a processing promoter. It reduces tackiness/stickiness of rubber compounds. It is used in combination with di-aminic cross-linking systems and can extend scorch times. It improves the flow-ability of compounds. Recommended dosage of Aflux® 18 is 0.5-1.0 phr, in combination with stearic acid.
