DIBAC by Lanxess is diisobutylaluminum chloride-based catalyst. Possesses at least one-carbon-metal bond and alkylating-, reducing- and lewis-acid properties. DIBAC is suitable for manufacture of polyolefins and synthetic elastomers. The shelf life of the product is 2 years if stored under protective gas in sealed unopened original containers at a temperature less than 50°C.
