Rhenocure® L

Rhenocure® L by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an ultra-accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubber like SBR, NBR and EPDM. It imparts very good tensile and resilience properties. It is recommended to add with antioxidants, for improving the aging resistance. It offers a longer scorch time and a faster total curing time than Rhenogran® LDB/C. It is used in small amounts for secondary acceleration and for the activation of mercapto or thiuram accelerators. In Rhenocure® L, addition of thiuram and thiazole accelerators retards the start of the vulcanization and enhances processing safety. It is designed for pharmaceuticals or cosmetics, fabric proofing, dipped goods, self-vulcanizing compounds and solutions. It also finds application in mechanical goods, footwear, cables, surgical and hygienic articles and goods which come into contact with foodstuffs. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
