Rhenofit® EDMA/S

Rhenofit® EDMA/S by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an activator for peroxide vulcanization. It increases hardness, higher moduli, outstanding resilience and good abrasion resistance. The degree of polymer cross-linking may be considerably increased from what is normally obtained by higher dosages of peroxide. It is suitable for highly loaded light and dark EPDM compounds as well as for CM compounds filled with mineral fillers or carbon black. It is also designed for technical molded and extruded articles based on EPDM, EPM, NBR, CM, seals, bushings, cables and profiles. Recommended dosage level of Rhenofit® EDMA/S is 1-3 phr and has a shelf life of 2 years.
