Rhenogran® AFP-40/EPDM (GE 1909)

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Lanxess
40% aramid fiber pulp predispersed in 60% EPDM polymeric binder with dispersing agents. Acts as a reinforcing agent. It improves elasticity modulus, modulus at low strain, compression resistance, flexural strength, hardness, abrasion, tear and penetration resistance, shrinkage as well as creep resistance, and the dimensional stability. Also enhances the green strength of the uncured compound depending on the dosage. Compatible with NR, EPDM and HNBR. Recommended for molded and extruded articles, e.g. turbo charger hoses, V-belts, timing belts, seals, conveyor belting, rollers, roofing and membranes. The dosage rate is 2-20 phr.
