Rhenogran® Geniplex-70 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an activator for sulfur curing of EPDM and diene rubber. It also provides activation for blowing agent. It has an activating effect on accelerators used for the cross-linking of elastomers with sulfur. The decomposition temperature of blowing agents is reduced, during the manufacturing of sponge compounds. It is designed for standard elastomers, e.g. NR, SBR and NBR. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-3 phr. Rhenogran® Geniplex-70 has a shelf life of 2 years.
