Rhenogran® MBTS-80

Rhenogran® MBTS-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubbers. It is a versatile accelerator with good processing safety and in combination with activated dithiocarbamates, it prevents scorching. It can used alone or in conjunction with other accelerators. It is activated by thiurams, dithiocarbamates and aldehyde amines. It improves the processing safety, when used with ultra-accelerator. It shows good ageing properties in products. It has a retarding effect, during the processing and vulcanization of CR compounds. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. Rhenogran® MBTS-80 has a shelf life of 2 years.
