Ultramoll® IV

Ultramoll® IV by Lanxess is adipic acid polyester. Acts as a polymeric plasticizer. It offers good extraction resistance to oils, migration resistance in contact with other plastics, thermostability and processibility. Compatible with a large number of polymers, e.g. polyvinyl chloride (PVC), VC copolymers, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), and polyurethane (PU). Suitable for the manufacture of foodstuff packaging. Other applications are oil and petrol-resistant film, hoses, cables and conveyor belts, conveyor belts for the foodstuffs industry, milking hoses, blown film (cling film and microwave film) for packaging foodstuffs in extrusion and boots, shoes and soles for applications requiring petrol and oil resistance, safety shoes, film for the automotive, packaging and office article industry in injection molding. Ultramoll® IV has a shelf life of 2 years.
