Uniplex 400 is a polypropylene glycol dibenzoate (PPGDB). It is a low volatility, moderately solvating benzoate plasticizer. It is an efficient alternative to higher alkyl benzyl phthalate plasticizers. It is characterized by a moderate gelling behavior in PVC. It is compatible with a large number of polymers such as polyvinyl chloride, polysulfides, polyvinyl acetate, polyurethanes, polystyrene, and polyacrylates. Used in sealants.
