Vulkacit® DZ/EG-C by Lanxess is n, n-dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazyl sulfenamide-based vulcanization accelerator. It also functions as anti-corrosion agent in boilers. It is a fast but very safe accelerators providing a steep slope on the rheometer curve. It is designed for technical moldings and extruded products, e.g. seals, hoses, profiles, cable sheeting and insulation. It also finds application in manufacturing of textile auxiliaries, tires, tread, auto tubes, carcass, conveyor- and V-belts. It has a shelf life of 1 years.
