Azodicarbonamide/ sulfohydrazide based compound. Acts as a blowing agent. It is a dust-free masterbatch in micro-granulate form. Releases nitrogen, carbon dioxide or ammonia upon initiation by irradiation, heat or other forms of energy during processing of thermoplastics. Exhibits improved heat and noise insulation. Shows better dielectric properties, even gas distribution, no blooming, high effectivity and density reduction that enables weight reduction in final product. Suitable for stable and defined foamed plastic for various applications including high pressure decorative applications, lighter plastics and extrusion of hard PVC (polyvinyl chloride) in pipe, plate & profile. Recommended dosage is 0.2-0.6 phr and recommended processing temperature is greater than 180 °C. Not approved for food packaging.
