Halogen-free mineral-based compound. Acts as a flame retardant. It is a masterbatch developed to withstand fire. Works through a variety of chemical and physical mechanisms where the active substance may either cool, dilute or form a protective layer. Guarantees reliable metering and good dispersion while eliminating dust. Benefits include high product reliability and ease of handling. Suitable for films and foams. Complies with flammability standard DIN 4102 B2. Recommended dosing is 5-8 %.
