Melamine Resin Modified Ammonium Polyphosphate (APP)

It is a flame retardant based on phosphorus / nitrogen synergism and is free from formaldehyde. It is different from APP in the following properties i.e. reduce solubility & viscosity in water, improves dispersibility and thermal expansion efficiency during inflaming retarding process & insulation performance, show compatibility with polymers as well as resins, increases fluidity of powder. It is used in the foaming in 300°C or less, fiber materials (fireproof textile), all kinds of polymers (sun-proof, waterproof, or fireproof), fire-refractory building board, coiled material, epoxy resin and unsaturated resin. Also used for cable, rubber and electronic device.
