QDO®

Quinone dioxime (90-100%wt). Acts as a non-sulfur vulcanizing- and curing agent. Improves heat, electrical resistance and heat-aging properties. It gets activated with red lead, benzothiazyl disulfide (MBTS), or peroxides. Used for synthetic elastomers. Recommended for use in the fabrication of high voltage wire/cable products, electrical encapsulants, and heat-resistant seals and hoses. Also, used as a part of the curative system for liquid butyl elastomers and EPDM polymers.
