GUARD DOG™ UV531 by M Chemical acts as a UV light stabilizer. It has exceptionally strong and broad-range of UV absorption properties (UVA 315 – 400 nm and UVB 290 – 314 nm) throughout the UV spectrum. It offers maximum polymer protection and low color contribution. Retards yellowing and loss of physical properties. Exhibits synergism with hindered amine. It does not migrate to the surface. Compatible with PE, PP, TPO, ABS, PU, rigid and flexible PVC, phenolic resin and rubber. Suitable for injection and rotational molding. Recommended for thick films (>100 mm), tapes and fiber. GUARD DOG™ UV531 dosage rates are 0.2 – 0.5 wt.% in PE and PP, 0.5 wt.% rigid PVC and 0.5-2.0 wt.% for plasticized PVC.
