HSP Distance with SONGSORB® 1000: 0.0
2-(2’-Hydroxy-5’-methyl-phenyl) benzotriazole. Acts as a UV light stabilizer. It is a highly effective radical scavenger that protects polymers against degradation caused by exposure to UV radiation. It is an oligomeric HALS characterized by extremely low volatility, high thermal stability and excellent compatibility with many substrates. It can adversely react with compounds such as flame retardants, pesticides, and fine chemicals that contain sulphur or halogens. Compatible with LDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA, ABS, PS, PU, PA, polyacetals, elastomers and XPE. Recommended for films and fiber. General recommended loading concentrations range between 0.10 – 0.30 % depending upon the substrate and performance requirements.
