It acts as an antistatic agent. It works even at low relative humidity and provides a stable permanent antistatic finishing. It exhibits strong adhesion and reduces surface resistance. It shows high stability against physical effects such as friction. It improves slip properties and the coatings are temperature resistant. Used in expandable polystyrene & polypropylene plates for taking electronic items, EPS/EPP trays and EPS-packing chips. Also used in foamed drinking cups and foamed parts for the packing of electronic modules & electronic devices. It complies with EC-directives regulation. The recommended dosage should be in the range of 1-3 (weight)% (depending on the intended application and material type).
