LP -175

Mixture of methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, and styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer. Acts as a lubricating acrylic processing aid. It exhibits good metal release properties, higher output, better flowability, increased surface quality and an excellent transparency without moving. Can be dissolved in chloroform and methyl ethylketone. LP-175 prolongs working time and reduces plate out on the surface of machine. It cannot be dissolved in water and ethanol. Used for all kinds of products of PVC, such as rigid calendered film and sheet, rigid bottle, weatherable profile etc. Can be used singly with satisfactory performance, it is often used together with other processing aid to enhance the plasticity of PVC resin. Recommended to added at concentrations of 0.5-1 phr (PVC 100 phr).
