Millad® 3940 by Milliken is a MDBS, sorbitol based clarifying and nucleating agent for polyolefins. It provides very fine and uniform size crystallites which is smaller than the wavelength of visible light, so it can increase clarity, lower haze, improve gloss and surface smoothness. Millad® 3940 can increase crystallization rate of polyolefins which result in shorter cycle times, lower fabrication costs and increased production capacity. It is used in medical devices.
