Milliguard™ AOX-1

Milliguard™ AOX-1 by Milliken is a polymeric lactone. It acts as an antioxidant. It significantly reduces polymer damage due to oxidation caused by high temperature exposure. It is effective in stabilizing carbon-centered radicals at the beginning of the degradation process. Milliguard™ AOX-1 eliminates migration and surface bloom. Proper polymer selection drastically reduces toxicity and bioaccumulation. It is compatible with a variety of resin systems including PUR. It is effective at low levels. Recommended dosage level is 0.05 to 2.0 php. The AOX-1 technology can contribute to a an amine free stabilization package as the technology is not aminic.
