Niax™ Silicone L-5690 by Momentive Performance Materials is a silicone/polyether copolymer. Acts as a co-surfactant that stabilizes froth in the mechanically frothed foam process.

Possesses increased stabilization of mechanically frothed foam.
It reduces froth density and shear-induced cell collapse under doctor blade.
Offers reduced bubble coalescence in oven cure conditions.
Niax™ Silicone L-5690 provides a fine, microporous cell structure.
Developed for use in mechanical froth applications.
Enhances stability of foams for the medical industry, textiles and non-wovens, gaskets, electronics and consumer goods.
Designed for use with a standard mechanical froth surfactant such as Niax Silicone L-5614 and L-5617.
