Niax™ silicone L-6635

Silicone copolymer. Acts as a surfactant. It reduces cell coalescence during foaming and under high shear stress conditions thus minimizing the formation of voids migrating to the foam-substrate interface. It increases energy efficiency in structural insulated panels, by eliminating defects at the foam surface. It reduces foam anisotropy and improves compression strength & dimensional stability while maintaining fine cells. It offers excellent stability & compatibility with hydrocarbon blowing agents and improves adhesion to substrates. Used in rigid polyurethane foams. The recommended dosage is 1.5 to 4 parts per hundred of polyol (php).
