LS-123 (5100) by MPI Chemie is a non-basic, hindered amine light stabilizer. It improves the retention of mechanical properties. It is used singly or in combinations to prevent the oxidation, chain fission, uncontrolled recombinations and cross-linking reactions that are caused by photo-oxidation of polymers. It prevents degradation and gives plastics the required resistance to light, temperature and weathering. LS-123 (5100) is used in packaging applications.
