AO-565 by MPI Chemie is a high molecular weight, multifunctional, non-staining phenolic primary antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. This additive is effective for elastomers such as polybutadiene, polyisoprene, emulsion styrene butadiene, nitrile rubber, carboxylated SBR latex and styrenic block copolymers such as SBS & SIS. Also, used in natural and synthetic tackifier resin, EPDM, ABS, high impact polystyrene, polyamides and polyolefins.AO-565 inhibits the formation of free radicals thereby enhancing the photo- and heat-stability of polymers. It is used as a post-polymerization process stabilizer for unsaturated elastomers. It can be used for wire and cable applications.
