MD-1024 by MPI Chemi is a primary phenolic antioxidant and metal deactivator. It provides extraction resistance and processing stabilization. It is used to terminate the oxidation reactions caused by different weathering conditions and reduce the degradation of organic materials. They inhibit the formation of free radicals thereby enhancing the photo- and heat-stability of polymers. MD-1024 is recommended for the stabilization of polymers in contact with copper both during processing and service-life. It is suitable for polyethylene telecommunications wire & cable resins, filled polyolefins, polyolefins in contact with copper NBR fuel hoses, (X-)SBR and styrene homo- & copolymers. Recommended for wire & cable, PE extrusion and pipes & fittings applications.
