Silane USi 401

Silane USi 401 by Nanjing Union Silicon Chemical is vinyltrimethoxysilane. It functions as an efficient adhesion promoter and surface modifier for various mineral-filled polymers. Also acts as moisture scavenger hence, can react rapidly with water. It can easily bond with OH-group. It is used as a co-monomer in polymer dispersions resulting in binders which exhibit much improved wet scrub resistance and higher abrasion resistance due to cross linking and improved adhesion to the substrate. It is also used for the preparation of moisture curing polymers. Pipes and cables produced from silane-crosslinked polyethylene using it were more resistant to heat and weathering than products made from non-crosslinked polyethylene with improved electrical properties. The storage stability is greatly enhanced in formulations of silane crosslinking sealants.
