Coad® 21 Zinc Stearate (Clear Melt)

Zinc salt of stearic acid. It acts as an excellent mold release agent for phenolic, melamine, urea-formaldehyde, unpigmented crystalline, impact polystyrene compounds and other thermoset molding compounds where a heat stable material is required. It is applicable for thermoset molding and polystyrene where it is used as a lubricant. It appears as free flowing white powder with slight fatty odor and is insoluble in water. In addition to its high clarity, its high purity ensures a superior heat stability to prevent haze in high clarity polymers. It is specifically developed for the polymer industry.
