Perkalite® F100S by Nouryon is a flame retardant and nucleating agent. It is an aluminum magnesium layered double hydroxide (LDH) modified with hydrogenated fatty acid. Perkalite® F100S offers improved thermo-mechanical properties. It exhibits improved barrier and rheological properties. This additive is used in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with foodstuffs. It is compatible with bromobutyl rubber (BIIR), butyl rubber (IIR), EPDM, EVA, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, polyamide, polypropylene (PP), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
