Ammonium polyphosphate. Acts as a flame retardant. It is non-hygroscopic and non-flammable. The crystal modification is phase II. It is manufactured from APP-201 by micro-encapsulation with melamine resin. Offers lower viscosity in aqueous suspensions. It is slightly soluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. Compatible with PP, PE, PA, PVC, PBT, PU and rubber.
