Einar® 601

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Palsgaard
Einar® 601 by Palsgaard is an efficient vegetable-based, sustainable anti-static agent. It offers excellent performance in a very broad range of PE applications. In most LDPE and LLDPE film it provides a good and sufficient performance at low loading levels around 0.1-0.4%. In HDPE, a highly crystalline material where antistat migration is low, antistat concentrations need to be higher at a level of 0.3-0.6%. The use of efficient antistats in PE and PP foam is particularly important in the packaging of sensitive electronics, where static build-up may release electrical charges that will be detrimental to circuit boards and other electronic components. Einar® 601 is a proven performer, delivering excellent antistat protection to PE foam even at low humidity conditions. Recommended loading levels are 0.2-0.5% for most applications. Einar® 601 offers excellent antistat protection in both plasticized and rigid PVC where it has the right migratory profile to build an antistat protection on the polymer surface. Recommended loading levels are 0.5-1.0% for most applications and may be higher in certain highly plasticized formulations. The food-grade status of Einar® 601 makes this anti-static agent the perfect match for food contact applications. It has a shelf life of minimum 24 months.
