Compounded antioxidant concentrate in HDPE/LLDPE blend to provide thermal stabilization to acid type polymers at high temperatures and during routine maintenance shut-down procedures. Acts as an effective masterbatch for all polyolefin resins. Used to protect these materials from thermal degradation during exposure to processing temperatures maximizing the inherent physical properties of the natural resins. When used at a 5-10% level, shut down stabilizer can be left in extruders, dies and other process equipment during routine maintenance “shut down and start up” procedures, to prevent unwanted polymer degradation and help keep the process equipment clean. Should be kept closed and stored in the original container, away from light, heat and high humidity environments.
