Calfax® DB-45

Calfax® DB-45 by Pilot Chemical is an efficient anionic, APEO-, VOC- & halogenated solvent-free emulsifying and wetting agent. It acts as a coupling and stabilizing agent. It is a 45% active sodium C-12 branched diphenyl oxide disulfonate. It is also used as a leveling agent in acid dyeing of nylon.

It produces consistent polymerizations with excellent mechanical, thermal and electrolytic stability.
It has great interface absorption features and great particle size control.
It can be used as a sole surfactant or with other surfactants.
It also solubilizes phenolic germicide in detergent-disinfectant formulations.
It is extremely stable in harsh environments such as acidic and alkaline, peroxide, bleach, high electrolytes and high temperatures.
It shows good compatibility with phosphate ester and non-ionic surfactants.
Calfax® DB-45 is used to manufacture acrylic, chloroprene, styrene-acrylic, styrene-butadiene, vinyl and nitrile.
