PUREstab 1010

PUREstab 1010 distributed by DKSH is a high molecular weight hindered phenolic primary antioxidant and long-term thermal stabilizer. This non-discoloring grade is odorless and tasteless.

It protects plastic and elastomers against thermo-oxidative degradation.
It shows good compatibility, high resistance to extraction and low volatility.
It can be used in combination with other additives such as co-stabilizers, e.g. thioethers (long term heat stabilizers), phosphites, phosphonites (secondary antioxidant), light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers.
It is highly effective when used in combination with PUREfos 168.
It is recommended for polyolefins, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, olefin copolymers and EVA copolymers.
It is also suitable for processing of polymers, such as polyacetals, polyamides and polyurethanes, polyesters, PVC, styrene homo- and copolymers, ABS, elastomers such as butyl rubber (IIR), SBS, SEBS, EPM and EPDM as well as other synthetic rubbers, natural and synthetic tackifier resins.
Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1%, 0.05-0.4% for polyolefins and 0.1-0.5% for synthetic tackifier resins.
